One Response to “What is the difference between mobile web and mobile (True) internet ?”
Mobile (Wap) web is designed for cheaper, regular phones and are non Html. They basically give less information, less images and often go to the mobile version of a website.
A full html browser like Opera Mini or the one on the iphone is usually only found on smartphones , which are like little PCs anyway. They are like a smaller version of using the regular internet like a laptop or desktop. They give you a much closer to regular web experience then WAP browser internet does.
Plus each carrier has its own wap capabilities and limitations. For maximum freedom online I recommend a smartphone like an Iphone, Google/Android OS, Palm /Web OS, Windows Mobile device with full html browser or a phone that can use Opera Mini (like Virgin Mobiles.).
